Intensive Home Outreach and Treatment (IHOT)

The IHOT Program provides intensive, community-based mental health services to children and families in their homes, schools, and community settings.

Program Overview

IHOT is designed to:

  • Prevent out-of-home placement
  • Support family reunification
  • Provide intensive therapeutic intervention
  • Strengthen family systems
  • Connect families with community resources

In-Home Services

  • Family therapy in the home environment

Individual Services

  • Individual therapy for identified youth

Coordination Services

  • Case management

Program Features

Intensity

  • Up to 10 hours per week of direct service
  • 24/7 crisis support availability
  • Flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends

Duration

  • Average length of service: 4-6 months
  • Regular progress reviews
  • Gradual step-down process
